United States, Portland, Oregon My personal photographs are juxtaposed into a landscape with found images, altered into a 2-D realm, and mixed to form a statement on pop art culture. Hearts, stripes, and collages of chaos drench the canvas of my work. The lines between the art I create and myself are purposely blurred. I use elements of collage and fuse these with my personal collection of photographs to create a unique base before adding transfers, ink, and found objects. I am inspired by both fashion and the red cross. Elements of pop art inspire me, but overall, I do not adhere to a specific concept or art movement.
