|  Maria Vajda textile artist, she was born 1955 in Brassó (Romania). 1979 – graduated from the Hungarian Academy of Applied Arts Department of Tapestry and Woven carpets. 1992 – started to work as a teacher at the Secondary School of Arts in Nyíregyháza. Memberships: Member of the Union of Hungarian Artists, Association of Hungarian Artists, Association of Hungarian Tapestry Artists. Solo exhibitions: 1999 – Vigadó Gallery, Budapest, 2000 – Budacastle Workshop, Budapest, 2001 – Library Gallery, Győr 2002 – Pannon Hungarian House, Pécs, 2002 – Museum of Post, Budapest.
